I'm a qualified Personal Trainer and Menopause Coach who has helped hundreds of individuals build strength, improve their health, and feel more confident in their bodies through personalized coaching. My own fitness journey wasn't straightforward. Before becoming a mobile personal trainer, I spent many years working in an office environment while quietly battling low confidence and anxiety. Living with ADHD often left me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of myself.
Losing my cousin to cancer became a turning point in my life. It served as a wake-up call to step outside my comfort zone and begin challenging myself in ways I never thought possible. I started cycling and completed 100-mile charity rides, learned to swim as an adult so I could participate in sprint triathlons, joined running clubs, and discovered the positive impact that cold water swimming, breath work, and movement had on my mental wellbeing.
My fitness journey continues to evolve. Last year, I completed two 50km trail ultra marathons, which sparked a passion for long-distance trail running and reinforced my belief that we're often capable of much more than we initially think.
During the Covid lockdowns, I took the opportunity to study and qualify as a personal trainer. I began providing personal training for women and neurodivergence fitness support in a private gym while still working full-time in an office, and within three months, I was able to leave my previous career to become a full-time personal trainer.
Today, many of the people I support are facing challenges I understand personally, whether it's low confidence, anxiety, neurodivergence, menopause, stress, or simply feeling unsure where to begin. When I'm not coaching, you'll usually find me strength training in the gym, running trails, or exploring the outdoors. I believe we're all capable of more than we think, and I love helping others discover that potential too.
Whether someone wants to get into running or feel more confident walking into a gym for the first time, I believe the same principles apply: patience, support, and taking one step at a time.
